Tomorrow is the beginning of Cycle 2 -- The Activate Cycle. Yay! I've missed baked sweet potatoes (one of my favorite power vegetables) which ranks up there as one of the best vegetables, nutrition wise, that you can eat. http://www.foodreference.com/html/sweet-pot-nutrition.html
I also miss my oatmeal with a few pecans and a fresh pear. Also, before I began the 17 Day Diet, I'd just started eating Quinoa (pronounced keen wah) which is very high in protein and contains all nine essential amino acids. I'm on Day 16 as well. I've lost 9 lbs. I like this diet and how it is structured. Can't wait to start Cycle 2! Keep up the good work...we can do this!
Hi, good luck on cycle 2, I wish I were there, but tomorrow is day 9 for me. So far, so good. I've lost 4.2 lbs and I agree, I miss potatoes and oatmeal. At least I haven't been hungry, and if I am, I have a cup of tea to take my mind off it. Let us know how cycle 2 is going.
