I'm an only child.  I'm usually pretty quiet and shy.  I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. My passions are cooking and gardening.  I have 3 grown children, all moved away.  I miss them a lot.  I enjoy sitting quietly in my back yard listening to the birds & reading.  I hate shopping.  I've had the same 3 friends since I was 4 years old.  I love summer, hate winter.  I usually knit during the winter months hoping that winter won't seem so long....it doesn't help - winter is still too long.  One of my hobbies is an aquarium.  Nothing spectacular, just fun to watch.  Would like to start a Cichlid aquarium.  Becoming more health conscious as I "mature".  Watching The Doctors really helps - lots of good tips and advice.  Avid fan of the Biggest Looser, otherwise hate reality shows.  Enjoy watching Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Law & Order and Cold Case.  Enjoy camping and fishing.
