Day 40.....Wow! Congratualtions! Are you at your goal, or are you starting on accelerate again. That is what I will be doing. Today is day 10 for me. I am so glad to hear that you are still loving it. How much did you lose on the second cycle?
In Cycle 1, I lost 12 pounds, Cycle 2, I lost 4 pounds, it just teeter-tottered during the whole cycle, instead of going on to Cycle 3, I went back to Cycle 1. Its been 7 days, and I'm down 3 pounds, but this diet has been great for me, I was already eating yogurt before I started, and I prefer chicken over any other meat, including steak, and the hot lemon water is actually starting to taste pretty good, I use a packet of Truvia in mine, I also have a very active job, lots of walking, fast paced, not to mention, we have 7 kids and 12 grandkids, so far! They keep me pretty active, plus since I started this diet, it seems that my RA doesn't bother me as bad as it did before. I do keep a journal of all my meals and extra-activities, including hula-hooping, and I'm always looking for new recipes to keep it interesting. I weighed in this morning, I'm still at 144, so no more pounds lost yet, but I also got a visit from Mother Nature today, so I figure, that will slow me down quite abit. I did find a new recipe on WW website last night, I tried it today, pretty good and simple to make. It's called "Yogurt Jell-O, just 1 small box SF Jello - any flavor, I used Strawberry, 1 cup boiling water, 1 cup FF yogurt, vanilla or flavored, I used Plain Greek Yogurt, just mix jello and water, until dissolved, add yogurt, stir until blended. Chill. Makes 4 servings and is 1/2 pt. on WW. It was very good. It reminded me of the Jello 1-2-3, I don't know if they even sell that anymore, but I always liked it back then.
It sounds like you are starting off great, it helps, if someone else diets with you, myself I've been a loner, with a husband that doesn't want me to lose at all, which can be very discouraging, but I'm not going to give in, I've got 14 more pounds to go to get to my goal. If I find anymore good recipes, I'll pass them on.
YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION. IS YOUR HUSBAND AFRAID YOU WILL LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU ARE THIN AND HAPPY???? SOMETIMES HUSBANDS CAN'T WIN. IF THEY SAY WE ARE FAT WE GET MAD AND IF THEY SAY DON'T LOSE ANY WEIGHT WE GET MADE. THE REAL TRUTH IS YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR YOU AND YOUR HEALTH WILL BE THE HAPPIER FOR IT. WISH I WAS FURTHER INTO IT. I HAD ONE DAY WHERE I GAINED A HALF POUND BACK AND THAT WAS A BUMBER SINCE I HAD DONE A VIGOROUS ZUMBA CLASS THE NIGHT BEORE I AM HOPING TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER AS I REALLY HAVEN'T CHEATED AT ALL.
