Hey Delucalu!
I read your comment on the SurgiSil forum. I don't think you will have to worry about migration. Your body accepts the implant pretty easily. The reason you need to stretch/exercise/massage your lips after the initial healing is to keep the tissues pliable. You want that scar tissue 'pocket' around the implant to be flexible and loose. If your lips don't get exercised afterwards, the scar tissue can close tight around the implant...that makes for a tighter smile, not as much movement. Then, on the other hand, there are people like myself that are prone to contracture (tight scar tissue around the implant). I just had my lips done for the second time; I unfortunately have a horror story leading me to have them replaced. I had gone to get my wisdom teeth out and the oral surgeon was told multiple times that I had lip implants and that my mouth does not open as wide as someones who does not have implants, and he said not to worry....Well, long story short; he pulled so hard on the one side of my mouth during the procedure that he tore that scar tissue pocket in both upper and lower lip. That forced the implants through the end of the pocket, into the corner of my mouth. Not fun. So, I had the implants removed and replaced and put into the location they were supposed to be in. Also, since I'm prone to the scarring, the surgeon had to separate the scar tissue to loosen things up a bit for me. Now I am taking Accolate for 4 months due to it's success in helping minimize scar tissue.
*phew!*
So, don't worry about migration...just smile tons (it will keeps things loose) and enjoy your beautiful lips! :)
