About Me

Hello, I am 50 years old, live in Ontario, Canada. I am a very happily married lady with a 25 year old daughter, 6 stepchildren, and 10 grandchildren. I have had migraines all my life but they have really kicked up in the past few years. My migraines sometimes cause temporary paralysis on my right side and I have lost alot of time at work because of this. I am back to work 4 days a week now but the barometer is one of my triggers and this time of the year with the weather changing lots I have been getting hit quite a bit. The problem is most of the usual drugs for treatment of the migraine while you have it as well as the preventitives don't seem to work well for me. I currently take about 9 different medications every night to try to keep from getting the 4 per week that I was getting last year. I am doing better but if anyone out there has had success with migraine treatment I would love to hear from you.

My late husband's mom, who has been mom to me since the age of 18 is terminally ill and is quite a distance from us. My daughter left this morning to go see her and say her goodbyes. Winter Migraine Madness

Good morning all. The winter weather is here and my migraines are really kicking into high gear this year. Its the same here people seem to get on it easier than others even though my med records are to the point , and very thick to say the least. Its puttinga strain on my marriage too . It seems like they want to weed out the people who are desperate aand will just go back to work cause they are about to loose everything. but i am one who cant. i cant drive at all now. its very frustrating !

Sorry again that I missed your call..you know about my cell.. Glad you called on Brian's.. I'm getting new phone service just as soon as I'm willing to brave the traffic to the store... i suppose I could shop on line. Thinking On Line now. ! That could be very dangerous for everyone here ! So, how are you ? I can't wait to have a good phone conference with yall. My daughters and I are supposed to trade in our electric stuff for the non electric stuff....lol I wish that I would make more time for it, but it's usually one of those "fleeting thoughts" and since I moved my desk in front of the window, well, they usually just fly right out before I can share them with anyone...ne're to return. Yes i did right it down , he has a book that we write certain things down and the days and time and stuff, His accompliment book i guess. He still talking about it too. I have had these dreams as well what a great feeling the next day ,but also sadness they are gone . but in a way not relaly.

Christmas was good, we went to my grandmothers' house Christmas Eve and my uncle's and my moyher-in-laws Christmas Day and Saturday my brother-in-law and sister-in-law came in from Nashville and we had Christmas again. I did get take a picture of Peyton with my niece Gracie but it came out blurry I put it on my profile - I don't know how well you'll be able to see him. but I also took a picture of my other nephew Joey and their big sister Gracie. I'll try to get a better picture of him soon and but it on here for every one to see.
