Over the past two years, I've gained about 25 pounds over and above my ideal weight. I'm now at the point where I am exercising again, but still can't seem to take any of the weight off. I'm hoping the 17-Day Diet will work for me.

Day 1: I just ordered my 17-day diet book yesterday, so I'm not yet sure what the diet all entails. However, thanks to some of the posts I've read, I understand that I'll need to eat lots of salads, fish, chicken, and veggies during the first 17-days. Going to the grocery store today so that I can prepare what I need in advance of the busy week ahead. Hopefully, that will help me avoid the temptation of eating unhealthy foods for convenience. :)
Please feel free to write any words of encouragement for me or any comments about your own experiences. Also, just a note, the picture I posted is when I was at my "ideal" weight in 2007.
