I've been a dancer for almost 7 years now and within the last year or so my teacher has changed up the choreography a bit and we have started doing more jumps and falls landing on our knees. I get frequent bruises that last for a couple weeks. I was wondering if they was ok and if there is anything I can do to prevent these or heal them faster. Thanks :)

Dear Dancer, falling on your knees can not be a good thing. I suggest you either start wearing knee pads or find a different dance company. You could do permanent damage if you continue.
