About Me
My name is Crystal. I live with my boyfriend and 3 boys, all of whom I Love very much. I was raised in many different states, as my father was military. Before I became to ill to work, I was a C.N.A., getting ready to go get my R.N. As much as most people think that line of work sucks, I loved doing it and miss it very much. The best part of that type of work is going home every day knowing you made a difference in someone's life. No it doesn't pay a lot and you have to deal with some of the "crappy" end of things, lol, but if you really care about people, at the end of the day, it should not matter because you know that people were taken care of properly and given the love that they deserved, and you were the one who was able to do that. It is one of the hardest yet most gratifying jobs there is. I give credit to all of those who do that line of work and do it right. Kudos to ALL of you, go home with you sore feet, hurting backs, and keep your heads held up high and remember...you make a difference in all of those peoples lifes every day!
The only other job that I have done in the past that could remotely come close to that would be when I was a photographer. Only because it made memories for people. Memories are something that can't be replaced. It was a fun job. And I knew it was important, because pictures are important to have for keepsakes, but the day that the importance of that job hit me, that is a day I will never forget. I answered the phone, it was a mother who had what has to be the worst year of her life. She lost her husband to an auto accident the begining of the year, her only child to an illness two months later, then her house that held all of the memories to a fire not long after.....all of it in a 6 month time span. She wanted to know how long we kept the negatives so she could get copies of any pictures that we might have left. When I called home office and explain the situation, they were kind enough to not only go back farther than usual, but they gave them to her at no charge! I thought what a wonderful thing for them to do for her!
Now, I find myself finally starting to get better. After years of fighting health issues. And with a product that can help thousands upon thousands of people. It can not just help their health, but they can make money too. My perspective, if it can do both, why not? Everyone needs to be healthy, everyone needs money, so why not. When I first started drinking the MonaVie juice, I did not intend on telling anyone about it, but then I started getting results. And I decided that something this good had to be shared. If I did not tell people about it, it would be like keeping a secret. So I changed my mind, then I started meeting more and more people it has has helped. Then I realized, this MUST be the ultimate way to help people. What better way to do it? When you can help with health and money, there can't be any other way to beat that! So, yes, I drink my MonaVie everyday, as do my kids, my boyfriend, my Mom, my Uncles, and several other people I know, and my best friend too now. But I am happy to say, I have found the ultimate way to help people!
So I decided to add some stuff to my profile. There is so much talk about the "acai berry" going on out there, I thought that I would share some of what I know. So here goes:
If the berry is preserved properly, it holds an amazing high antioxidant value. So high it was tested several times and in a couple countries to make sure the results were accurate. This berry can not be reproduced in any setting other than it's natural habitat or it will loose that antioxidant value. It gets it's value through a number of things from the color of the skin to the seasonal weather. The weather of the enviroment plays a massively huge factor as to why it can not be grown in greenhouses to have the same effect on people. When friuts or any other food are growing, the more harsh the enviroment, the higher the level of antioxidants it has for us. This is due to its capacity to survive the elements of nature. The acai has to survive the heat, floods, and many other conditions of the Brazillian rainforest to stay alive, that is why it is so healthy to consume. Studies have shown that if it is not preserved right, it will loose most of it's antioxidant values for us. If properly preserved, it rates 1,027 on the ORAC scale. Almost all other fruits are below 250! I found this on the FDA website, i typed in acai.
Interpretive Summary: Tissue damage can be caused by a process known as oxidation. Compounds know as antioxidants are thought to help prevent tissue damage, and thus reduce disease states caused by oxidation. A fruit known as acai has been demonstrated to exhibit significantly high antioxidant capacity and, therefore, may have possible health benefits. In this study, the antioxidant capacities of freeze-dried acai fruit was evaluated and found to have the highest antioxidant activity of any food reported to date. These results suggest that this fruit would be an excellent food to study for potential disease prevention effects in the future.
That explains it better that I could. I was going to explain how the colors of each fruit make a difference in our diet, but that can be found on the FDA website too. From research posted in 1996 (I believe that was the year). Anyway, the combination of the explainations and more information I read, is why I drink the MonaVie. It has all of the fruits for the color of the rainbow. I have learned that in order to maintain good health, we need that. Anyway, I will leave this for everyone to think about, if you have any questions that I might be able to answer, I would be glad to. And if I don't already know, I will find out. I will not answer it if I don't know it. There a saying, "You don't know what you don't know." And I don't rely on blogs or pages of that nature for the answers, I only check where there are facts to back them up. As one of these days, I do believe that the FDA will see this juice as more than a juice, but that is my opinion.
Have a good day and stay healthy!
