Can some one plz tell me if the HIV test i got done after around 6weeks of my possible exposure is conclusive.Well it was Negative shewfff but i am still scared if the tiny parasites were to young at the time to be dected at 6 weeks. I have read over the web though that 6 weeks is sufficient time for the test to determin the correct result.

I was stuck with a dirty needle at work once form someone infected with HIV the tested me right away and then again 6 months later, per that company's giude lines. Since then I have requested to be checked with each pregnancy I have had to make sure and thankfully they have always been negative.
I've heard 6 months is the amount of time it takes.
