Keeping weight off
After being a yo yo dieter for years I finally got right in my head as I like to call it and lost 80 punds just by watching what I ate. It has been four years and I have gained back 10 pounds which I am in the procuess of losing again. It is crazy how we can fool our minds into what they call stinking thinking in recovery programs. You know the conversation you have with yourself....

There is really nothing you can do but keep fighting the cause. The minute you get cocky and then you have cured yourself of all your bad habits they will come right back. Maybe it is a candy bar here and there that turns into one a day. I don't know how you lost your weight but I lost mine just by reducing my intake so one candy bar adds another 300 calories for the day and if you skip the gym it is an easy slide down that slope. However, having said that I know you can lose your weight again it is really a no brainer, eat less and excecise more. If you a have jad hip surgery though and have to recover the only thing you can do is cut your self some slake and start again. Don't beat yourself up over it, that will just make you depressed and eat more. I feel so much better when I am at a healty weight and my clothes fit I am trying to keep that in mind. Let me know how you are doing maybe we can motive each other.
Hi, your blog hit home....I kept 70 pounds off for over 20 years and gained it all back because of meds and hip surgeries. Now I can't get it off!!! I know the frustration!

I am a mother of two, grandmother of 4 and have a great husband. I live in Las Vegas where I work as a Realtor/Home Stager. I am addicted to the Doctors TV show and when I can't watch it I record it which frustrates my husband because he has no room left to record sports.
