I love your show, but let's be honest about this teen sex thing!
1) Anal sex is more likely to transmit STD than any other means because of the blood exposure.
2) Boys will always make girls feel like they will leave them if they don't "put out!"
3) Who cares? If they say that, they don't care about you anyway. Having regular girlfriends in which you trust is so much more important than boys...you will find this out.
4) AND MOST IMPORTANT TO ME!!! Hepititis C has not been proven to be transmitted by regular sex!!! Maybe anal because of the blood, but it MUST have blood to blood to transmit. Hepititis B CAN BE TRANSMITTED though!

First, I'd like to ask where are the fathers?? All I see is a bunch of girls seeking approval and attention from men/boys. If the fathers were active in their lives, would this be the case??
What about the emotional risks?? Are their future husbands going to be impressed by this behavior?
I'm appalled at the mother who sat by her daughter after hearing her talk about anal sex and her comment that if he wants more and you don't want vaginal that's what you have to do. Everyone is all about teaching sex, but what ever happened to teaching self respect??? Would someone please tell these girls that there bodies are not carnival rides for these boys, it is not their job to make sure the boy gets off, and if he wants to leave because you won't do more, then he's using your body as his personal sex toy and you really don't matter to him??
I'm tired of seeing young girls being hurt by the boys who were never taught how to be men. A real man is the PROTECTOR, provider, and leader of a home. Someday these boys willl have a home and family, will they teach their sons and daughters to behave like this?? You are right: what happened to self respect and using the word "no"? These poor girls are going to carry around a lot of baggage and they don't even know it. And parents that condone this behavior, ugh...

Good point MPhinny - EMOTIONAL risks? They are the worst - self-esteem and the pain!
imasoner - also a VERY GOOD point - It is NOBODY'S "job to make sure the boy gets off!" That is exactly what is wrong with this picture and why some women never experience pleasure in sex when they believe it is their sole responsibility to please the guys. Guys, it's your job to please us too, and part of that is keeping your pants on long enough for us to know you!!!
MPhinney - there are obviously two threads going about this, and I'm just going to reply to the other one from now on. But, you are great! I wish you were around for some of the girls that don't have fathers stepping up.
