Last year just after the above picture was taken, my friend Felicia had surgery to remove a tumor in her face rooted in the maxillary bone. When the tumor was biopsied, she was diagnosed with Carcinoma (Cancer).

She is currently undergoing intensive treatment at UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina which includes radiation therapy and Prosthodontics.
