About Me
I am a 43 yr old woman, single mother of an 8 yr old daughter. I retired from training horses and teaching horseback riding to at-risk, inner-city youths. Through this line of work, I have travelled throughout many of the continental US states. I am now on disability due to complications from a childhood bone disorder.

Hip Pain in Children
Hi, everyone! I am posting this to try to bring awareness to an uncommon, but severe, childhood disorder called Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease. This disorder (I refuse to call it "disease") is generally discovered in children under the age of 9. It affects both girls and...

I'm so sorry to hear about yor mom. If your family all has MRSA you might consider bleach baths. My infectious disease doctor suggested them for me and my family when we were all experiencing MRSA. It's about the same as swimming in a chlorinated pool, which by the way he also said would help. The recipe for a bleach bath is one cup of bleach for every 100 gallons of Water. The average size tub holds 100 gallons when filled to the top, typically you cannot fill them that full with the clean out drain, so a typical bath would be about 1/2 cup. These baths can be taken up to once a week when you have an active infection, about once a month if someone else is infected, it will help to clear the spots you have, and kill any MRSA on yor skin. Only soak about 20 min. It will dry your skin a bit, but it will help stop the infection. Hope you all recover soon. Michele
