My name is Lisa, I'm 44, and have two daughters, ages 24 and 11. I'm an outdoorsy, country type of gal....maybe even a bit redneck. My interests include hunting , fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, four-wheeling, NASCAR, painting, cross-stitching and reading. I also like to build things, or attempt to anyway, so I enjoy working in my shop.

I've been in EMS for 20 plus years. Cardiology is my favorite subject. I'm a just recent, (31 days), nonsmoker and it is still very difficult, but I'm hanging in there. Already gaining the weight so I'm looking forward to this new diet/way of life.

What I love about life would have to be my daughters and the time I get to spend with them. I'm blessed in that they, (especially the youngest) have the same interests as me. Not that they had much choice....both were on the back of a horse before they were born and heard the sound of a rifle shot many times while in the womb.

What's the last thing I purchased for a friend? Hmmm... sad story there....one better suited for the Dr. Phil show instead of here, lol.
