Trouble Requesting Friends

I am new to this site and am having trouble requesting friends.  Also is there a way that you can communicate to people that is not in the public eye?  I know a number of you are old pros here so please help.

I would like to know how to communicate with someone person to person also, besides posting for everyone to see....

Hi there,

 

If you are not getting an error message when requesting friends, it's possible that others haven't received your request yet, or just choose not to accept friends. Also, if they have the option to receive email to notify them of a request is turned off (in their account options), then requests will not be seen unless they login and look for them.

 

As to your other question, we do not have a private messaging feature at this time.

Hi BMB Sorry you are having troubles. I hope you have been able to figure it out. There is so much good info on this sight. With myself I find sometimes the friends request goes thru and sometimes not. Well I look forward to you joining.If I can help with anything please go on my name and click I always check aftr work. Hi,

I would be happy to be your friend :) I know you can give your e-mail address, but then it would be public!!!! Otherwise you could use yahoo instant messenger if the friend accepts because you can always block people on there if you don't want unwanted messaging. I am home all day so if you need help let me know. Glad to have you as a friend.                              Dee

I cant get Friend Request to come up on my profile........

Hello twoboys,Read down to the bottom of this page. The doctors explain it. When you click on friend request under someones name,They get a message to accept u or deny. You have to have accept friends on under your profile. I hope this helps you. If not let me know we will try and figure it out.
