I am a 69 year old female. As you probably noticed I will be 70 in Jan. My health has been a rocky affair for years, but I am still going and plan on it until there is just nothing left to  work with.

I grew up in the back woods of Maine. Was never really exposed to much except for work or ill health. I still have a 30 year old mind and a 165 year old body, but it is getting better then what it was this winter. I thought thast I would be dead by now the way the winter was. i always worked like a man except for my last job which was working for the Maine Turnpike Authority as a ticket taker. (My luck was I was hit by a car walking back to my booth) That ended me working and I hate it!

Had three children one girl, and two boys. The girl was born April 1963 was 7 lbs 5 oz`s 21 " long. Very hard delevery and lots of stitches (over 100) My eldest son was born Jan 1 1965 and weighed 10 lbs 10 ozs 21" long. Hard delevery with him also as they gave me nothing when I had him and back then they did not show you how like they do today. My last was 9 lbs 5 ozs and 21" long not as bad when I had him. He was born Dec 2 1973, He become a diabetic at the age of 3 and passed June 17,2002 had lost his eye sight and kidneys.

I have had 5 back surgeries starting in 1979 doing L-3,L-4, L-5 & S-1,(ending in 2009) right knee replacement in 1999, numerious abdominal surgeries over the years. In July 2009 I had the trigeminal Neualgia taken care of with complications. I am facing having the left knee replaced in July 20th of this year. Have Osteoarthritis & Osteoporosis, plus a growth on my Thyroid. Other then that I just try to keep on ticking so that I can stay living independant with my little dog.

I do love to walk trails, go out walking (can`t until knee is done) swimming is my favorite and I think I am the only serious swimmer living here. Take dog to dog park, lots of things to do but no fun by yourself and where I cannot count on how I am doing day from day I have to do things on the spur of the moment. Would love to go to some places site seeing but money is a problem.

I have always been a person who would give whatever I have to someone who needs it more then I do, so needles to say I have never been overly rich. Gave and gave to children and grandsons, both with money but mostly with my life and enegey rather I was sick or not. Took care of my ex-husband for several years until Ihad to put him in a nursing home. (Lived 5 months I was there at first twice a day then once a day until I was put in the hospital for the month of July and then to a nursing home that could handle IV`s) He had Parkinson`s disease, at the same time was when my youngest son needed all the attention.

I have given more of my llife to other people and now that I should be able to enjoy what time I have left I am having a hard struggle financialy. Only place I go is to the Dr`s I put gas in my car once every two months. That is the lot of life that I drew so I just pull up my boot straps and keep going every time that I am down. No one else can do it but me. The love of my life is my little dog as my family does not have time for me and that is why I moved to Florida from Maine plus the warm weather.

My one wish is to find some one who likes to do the same things that I do so that I would have someone to do things with. The other is to have a relationship with my family before I die.
