About Me

This cry out is not for me, but for my son.

He is 39 years old with a great personality and loves to laugh as much as loving to make people laugh. Hereditivally speaking, he was born with small teeth with about 7 teeth missing. (me too) At the age of 15 he wanted braces and a partial more than anything. ( I just tied rubberbands around mine because I didnt have the problem then) The older he got, the smaller his teeth looked and he was very self-conscious about his smile. He is a salesman for a food distributer in Jacksonville, FL and I live in Chattanooga, TN.

Two years ago, he made an important, yet regretable. decision to get dentures, upper and lower, having 27 perfectly healthy teeth pulled to improve his smile. For 2 years, he has been living a nightmare of pain in his lips. His lips and the corners of his mouth stay raw and painful. He first thought he may be allergic to the denture material. After allergy tests, this was not the case. He has tried everything including another pair of dentures. He has lost 20 lbs because he cannot eat.

I love my son and cannot stand to see him suffer. Dentistry is expensive and his insurance is not helping him in this matter. If you can help, I would be most humble. To just find out what is the alternatives. I want my son to smile and be the happy person he used to be. I dont want him to go through the rest of his life suffering all because of a wrong decision just so he could have a nice smile.
