About Me
I own my in home day care business "Hart - 4 - Kids" now eleven years. I was a computer teacher in a Catholic elementary school prior for fifteen years. I am happily married for 38 yrs. Have one daughter and two sons who are all married. I have three beautiful grand daughters and two handsome grandsons. I love caring for and teaching children. I love reading books, I belong to an online book club. I also have a humble passion to learn and live scripture, I belong to a small Bible study group at my parish. Oh the fun we have when we get sidetracked.
My style is simple with a bit of french/country to it. My philosophy is a house is a home to be lived in, rather than a place of show. What I love about life is each day you wake up you get to begin again. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is for new hope. Life is to be lived, enjoyed, and shared with those you love. I really don't like to spend too much time with negative thinking people or people who like lots of drama.
The last thing I purchased for a friend would have to be bread baskets from a family Christian store with a linen liner that has "give us this day our daily bread" embroidered on it. I filled them with my assorted homebaked cookies, candy, a festive Christmas towel, and an ornament I made with their child's picture in it I took of them with a Santa hat on in front of my Christmas tree. I tied red and green shiny ribbons on the handles and I must say I was excited to give them as gifts. I gave one to each of my day care families/friends. The look on their faces as I handed it to them was priceless! The true spirit of the season is seeing the joy on someone's face when to give them a gift they don't expect and is so very personal, made just for them. Now who can resist a picture of their little one?
