I am excited!

I am enjoying this diet.  After 4 days, I have lost 3 pounds, and that includes a "little" cheating.  My desire for sweets is definitely less.  I approach each day with the intentions of not cheating and am successful on many of the days.  I have nevver been extremely overweight, but now that I am in my late 50's, I am carrying an extra 30-40 pounds.  Your metabolism definitely slows down at this age.  I am enjoying the 17 minute workouts.  They push me but are not too over the top.  I hope they will continue to have 17 Day Diet episodes on The Doctors, because I find them very motivational.  The book is an easy read which I appreciate.  So many diet books are too involved.  I also like the recommended meal plans.  If you try the recipes, please share how you liked them.  Good luck everyone!  Let's support each other during this challenge.
