I'm 39, married for 11 years to a wonderful man who has helped me through the medical challenges in my life without complaint.  He is a saint, and I love him more each day.  My friends call me crazy, and they're right!  I try to find the humor in every situation presented to me, because it makes getting through life easier.  My friends and family are a gift to me, and I would do anything for them. 

I love animals; we have four cats, two hermit crabs and a fish.  If I had been better in math and science I'd be a zookeeper somewhere, but since that didn't happen I just try to take advantage of any opportunity I can to get close to animals.  My cats are my babies and they take care of me as much as I take care of them.

My job is homemaker and caretaker of my almost 10 year old niece Amanda.  I watch her after school three days a week and love her dearly.  She and I have a great relationship, and although I do have to be that authority figure for her, we do a lot of fun things together and I get to teach her things that I've experienced.  It's such a cool relationship and I am so grateful for it.
