Starting Over
The Cabezas family was living in New Orleans at the time Hurricane Katrina tore through the city, leaving devastation in its wake. Left with no home or employment, The Cabezas reached out to a church in Tennessee that offered to sponsor the family of survivors and help them resettle in the state. Nine years after the natural disaster that upended their lives, the family still struggles to make ends meet at times. Jacqueline recently reached out to The Doctors for help for her young son, Julian, who needs braces that the family just can’t afford.

Meet the Cabezas, and hear their story of survival.

Dr. Rachael's sister, orthodontist Dr. Ruth Ross Edmonds, has a special surprise for Julian and Jacqueline.
