USDA Issues Food Safety Alert
The USDA is warning the public about a salmonella outbreak that has been traced to raw poultry produced at three Foster Farms facilities in California. To date, 278 foodborne illnesses across 18 states are potentially linked to the poultry products in question. The investigation is still ongoing and at its current stage, the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service is unable to link the illnesses to a specific product or production period.

Raw products from the facilities in question bear one of the below establishment numbers inside a USDA mark of inspection or elsewhere on the package:

• "P6137"
• "P6137A"
• "P7632"
