Plastic Surgery Overload

“I like to be awake during all of my operations so I can literally take control of everything and tell the surgeons how I want to look. If he’s not pulling tight enough, then I say, ‘Pull a bit tighter,’” she says.
Emotions ran high during the controversial debate. See what happens as the discussion continues during the break.
Sarah sits down with Dr. Phil McGraw for a revealing conversation about her plastic surgery obsession.
Child Pageant Dangers
Glitz, glamour, fake tans, high heels, hair extensions and fake eyelashes – this is the life of 8-year-old child pageant star Dianely. Is her mother, Fransoly, taking Dianely’s pageantry to a dangerous level?
“I’m not [taking it too far],” Fransoly says. “It’s our hobby. We enjoy it. She enjoys it, and we have fun together.”
Doctor of psychology Wendy Walsh, Ph.D. explains that many parents believe entering their young daughters in pageants helps develop their self-confidence and social skills.
“But there is other research that says that [if] girls are sexualized so young, it can actually lead to eating disorders, depression and low self-esteem,” Dr. Wendy says.
