Hello:

I am an older, returning graduate student studying Public Policy.  Due to my disabilities, grad school is extremely difficult at this time.

My personal health has been poor since birth:  I suffer from four types of debilitating seizures/epilepsy and chronic abdominal pain due to botched, now failed, Nissan Fundiliplication (in the 90's).  Other health problems include Barrett's <font size="3">Esophagus</font>, HTN, Hep C, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and now the beginnings of arthritis.

My biggest fear is having a PCP, four specialists, and two surgeons... all of whom do not speak to each other reguarding my care.  My goal is to do as much research on my own about my conditions along with the medications given to try and take a more proactive stance in my health care.  I was hoping that "THE DOCTORS" would be educational not entertaining....  I have been disappointed on several occasions and would like to know where some of The Doctors references have come from.  I'm watching AND paying attention....
