My name is Amber.  I am the mother of 5, but have only one living child.  I have an incomplete cervix, so even our little girl was born at 26 weeks.  She is a miracle.  My husband of eight years is a wonderful man.  He started getting sick May 21st 2007.  He was target practicing and his hearing went in his right ear.  He slowly started having facial symptom on the right side so we went to an ENT doctor.  After, they said they thought he had broken the bones in his right ear and they were pressing on the facial nerves. Then later they said that was not the problem, but never did anymore tests.  We started going to Emory in December of 2007.  He now has right-sided deafness, multiple cranial neuropathies, ataxia, speech, and swallowing difficulties.  He has had 6 lumbar pucshers, PET scans, MRIs, CAT scans, Cisternograms, lung biopsy, super orbital nerve biopsy, and inpatient physical therapy with all normal results.  My husband is currently bedridden due to a blood clot that hit his left lung, due you his mobility issues.  He now has left sided weakness also.
