I find it so frusterating when I turn to my Dr & get dismissed because they can't find anything diagnostically wrong, when it's obvious there is something clinically wrong.  I have been nauseated for the last 2 weeks, add abdominal pain and vomiting for the last week, and a complete loss of appetite, followed by diarreha the last 2 days.  I've had an abdominal CT, and a bunch of blood work. Everything has come back normal, and at least the Dr admitted that he didn't know what is wrong, but it is still frusterating to not be able to have an answer.

I asked him what I should be doing, and the response was "drink fluids, stay home and rest."  My response was I haven't kept anything down in 4 days, clear fluids, broth, jello, applesauce, tea, gatorade, crackers, dry toast, so can you please help me? MD's response was: "Well do you want to be admitted? Because if you want I'll have you admitted" When I asked him if he felt that was really necessary, he hemmed and hawwed, and couldn't really give me a straight answer. So he sent me for more lab work, and then home to try & eat/drink some more.  I had limited sucess in keeping stuff down yesterday, but I don't think it was enough. As I woke up on the floor of my closet this morning with no idea what had happened & had to call my husband to help me up. I was getting ready to try and go to work, but after that, I called and told work no dice.

I just wish that someone could tell me what was going on instead of all these non answers. I really don't want to go to the hospital, but maybe that is what I'm going to have to do for them to find out what is going on.
