About Me
My name is Amy-Jo Allen (AJ for short). I am a 34 single mother of one precious lil man who is 4. I live in the frosty Maritimes of Canada. I work full time for a bank but also work on the side with decorating cakes. Some day I am hoping to do this full time.
I love to spend alot of time with my son and play his favourite sport (hockey). Since my seperation I have learned to love life as it is and to live every day like it is your last. I have a renewed sense of self worth and have learned that really I am a good person and will be just fine. My huge (all 26 and counting) Family and friends are very important to me. Christmas is my favourite holiday followed by Halloween. I love to travel and have been down south a few times as well as been on a Cruise. One day I would love to be able to travel across Europe. Other hobbies are reading, dinner parties (people call me the hostess with the mostest-the more courses for a meal the happier I am with the challenge) and hanging out with friends. I occasionaly horse back ride and love the outdoors. Camping is a terrific way to get the fresh air needed to recapture your spirit and mind.
Along with my son I have two wonderful Yorkshire Terriers who are 4 and 5. They are my baby girls, unfortunately, I had to leave them with my ex husband as I had to move back to my parents (yeah I know) to get my self back on track and my feet under me. I will prevail and be out of there by March at the latest. When I do, my baby girls come with me.

Hi AJ, welcome. Your comments on being raised on the farm brought back some wonderful memories. I wasn't raised on the farm but used to spend summers with my grandmother on her's. The woman was a saint as she used to take my sister, myself, 3 cousins and my step brother for the whole summer. You can imagine the mischief we found to get into after we finished our chores! I look forward to hearing more from you.
