Dr.Helise Bichefsky, Internal Medicine and Laser Specialist.  Medical Director of a thriving medical practice, in West Chester, PA  where I also help patients with laser hair and vein removal, exclusive Isolaz acne therapy and hyperpigmentation.

I attended Widener University in Chester, PA where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Teaching Certification in Childhood Education.  I continued my training at Temple University where I studied the advanced sciences and at Drexel University where I studied NeuroPsychology. I was awarded the St. George Fellowship and was a member of the Phi Gamma Mu National Honor Society. 

Upon earning a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, I went on to complete a one-year rotating internship and a three-year residency program at The Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.  During that time I earned a National Student Osteopathic Medical Association Scholarship and was the recipient of the American College of General Practitioners Grant.  

I'm on staff at The Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA and Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA.  I'm also on active staff at Barclay Friends Nursing Facility, New Seasons of Devon and New Seasons of Exton.  I am a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and am currently dual certified in cosmetic Laser Medicine.

I've served on the Board of Directors at the Adult Care Center of Chester County since 2000.  I've also been the Medical Director for AREUFIT Health Services Inc. since 2004.  I'm a frequent speaker for the Alzheimer’s Associationand have been published in a variety of local media publications with articles relating to health and wellness.

As an active member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, I also serve on the Ethics Committee of the Neighborhood Visiting Nurses Association.
