About Me

I was diagnosed at age 9 with JRA at childrens hospital in Seattle, Washington. At 14 I was re-diagnosed with MCTD (mixed connective tissue disease) at the Arthritis Society in Vancouver, BC. I have Sjogrens Syndrom, Vasculitis, Polymyositis, Lupus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Raynauds Syndrome. I was one of 12 children in canada and one of 50 in north america with this disease. I am now 33 years old and currently live in Medicine Hat Alberta. I am currently on the AISH program.

Things Are Looking Up....Overall

Its been a while since I've written here. Last time I did was a very difficult time for me. I was stressed and depressed to the max. Currently, things are lookign a bit brighter....overall. I say overall because my health is still in bad shape, but I'm better equiped to handle things right now. I am still searching for a GP and a Rheumatologist deperatly. However, I am on medical leave and am getting things...

Good News :)

well im feeling a lot better about things after talking to my brother. hes always great in helping me balance my muddled mind, as it does get rather muddled when i get stressed or upset (which also makes everything go off kilter with my bones). and we hashed out pros and cons to everything and consequences and accomplishments tied to all of them. My goal even before now was to get my health in check...
