So I went to the doctors today and I finally got the results back from my surgery. The pap smear was normal but they did find that I do have endometriosis, these are not the results I was hoping for. The doctor said that the pain should eventually go away on its own and told me to make an appointment to see her in January. She said that she will see how I am doing then and then we will decide on if I should have the shot or not. I don't really want to have the shot because I don't really want to go into menopause at 19 and how healthy can it be to go through menopause twice?, and Im not about to have a hysterectomy done. I am hoping that I will just be able to manage the endometriosis with out having to do much. I am also hoping that I will not need further surgery in the future.
Also I have been booked in for a head CT scan on December 23rd to rule out a possible brain tumor and to try to figure out what has been cauing the pressure in my head from the past 5 months. And the appointment with the Rheumatologist is still on February 2nd where I will hopefully be able to find out what has been causing my joint pain.

I wish you the best of luck...will be thinking of you.
Melissa.
Thank you :)
Good luck with the CT scan. Hope is't nothing serious. For the endometriosis and joint pain, this is heavily related to vitamin D deficiency. Did you ever get your level checked? sorry, I can't find it if you did.
I have not gotten my vitamin D levels checked yet I have been planning on asking my doctor to run the test but I have been really busy and I have not been to see my family doctor in awhile.
