Psoriasis

2 years ago I was diagnosed with psoriasis, I had small scaly patches all over my body. My doctor sent me to a dermatologist where I was given 2 different medications to help clear it up. Eventually all of the scaly spots disappeared but I was left with some small white patches where some of the spots had been. And now some of these areas do not tan like the rest of my body. I was just wondering if the scaly patches will ever return and what kind of things can I do to prevent them from coming back.

I have psoriasis but I have never heard of it clearing up that quickly. I don't know, mine have never cleared up like that. I have had it for 20 years and am about 80% covered.

Hi, My friend's husband and my sis have psor. bad.  They can't find a cure. Do you remember the meds you took?  I thought Vit E was supposed to?  Wondering,  Lyndee

lyndeeus: Im not too sure what meds I was on I just went to the dermatologist and she gave me some different ones to try after telling me that I had psoriasis. Im actually not really sure I had it because it went away pretty quickly and everyone else i have heard of who have it theirs never went away, I guess mine could have been a mild case.
