Ok, here I am wrapping up Day 3 of cycle 1. So far I am LOVING the rapid weight loss (duh!) as of this morning I was down 6 POUNDS!!! In two days!! Un-frickin-believable!! It hasn't been the "easiest" diet I've tried, it's restrictive, and full of that "healthy" food stuff I've heard so much about ;) but I'm sticking to it!!! The first night my family had pizza for dinner while I had grilled chicken and asparagus...and I alost caved. I had to go sit out on the back deck, but I DIDN'T!! I focused, and I was so damn proud of myself in the morning!! I have been making the egg fritata with egg whites, spinach, red pepper, and mushrooms for breakfast, a salad with turkey for lunch, I have some hard boiled eggs in the fridge for easy access, as I said, on day 1 I tried asparagus...ick. Not gonna lie, thought it was sort of tasteless. Yesterday I had my eggs for breakfast, a spinach salad with grilled chicken for lunch, and lemon pepper fish with brussel sprouts for dinner. I'd never had brussel sprouts, and in all honesty was expecting them to taste like dirty feet, but I LOVED them!!! Weird right?!?! Today at the store I picked up an eggplant, which is another veggie I've never tried. I like that I'm pushing myself to try new things. I like that all of a `sudden blueberries and red grapes seem REALLY sweet, I like that I'm "retraining" my brain, and learning what healthy eating is all about. I haven't felt hungry, although I have had the urge to snack. I've craved carbohydrates, especially in the afternoon/evening. BUT I've stayed on track, not wanting to ruin my detoxification with one measley bite of whatever it is at that moment. So far, I'm extremely proud of myself and my progress!! Whoot-whoot go me! hahaha. How are YOU doing?

Hi zsquared. I am just getting started D2..I ws reading your motivating post and wondered how things are going since you are almost finished with C1.
Day 4 for me! If I lost 6 lbs I would be freak'n out with joy! Good going! I love lemon water - who would have guessed! I am loving green tea, thought I hated it! Trying Okra today for the first (I have had it in gumbo) and today is my Day 4, cyle 1! I haven't lost a pound yet but how I feel is amazing! The second day was the toughest for me! I notice this is a July 20 post and I hope you are still with us!
hello! sounds like you did great! I just started day 2, so far no loss but it's also that time for me right now so I'm prob retaining water. Had lotsa energy yesterday. Learning as I go along. was too full to have dinner last night which is strange, so I just had yogurt. and I'm not a big egg fan so it may be a bit of a challenge but after no loss with WW for 3 months, I'm gonna rly give this a try. :)
