I'm a 54 year young woman. I have 2 adult children that live outside the home. i retired in "05" after 33 1/2 years of service. In "07", I bought some property down south in Brown County and moved down there, coming from a condo that I had raised my Family in and lived for 34 yrs. Ready to write another chapter in my life.

It was great! All summer I built 2 large porches (front and back). Just me and a man in a wheelchair. My neighbor, Joe. Imagine me cutting grass....lol   I so enjoyed it all. Planting my trees, flowers. In between we would just sit on the porch and have a cold beverage. It was like living in a small park. Had so many trees. But had to cut down 4 because they were in bad shape. It was like a community liked I have never lived. My sister and her husband lived across the road. And my neighbor Joe. If and when one of us was out working, the others always came over and if we could we all pitched in and helped each other. Not that we always needed the help, but we all enjoyed each other. Or we would just talk. We had campfires.  I had one of the best years of my life down there. 

Well then came the floods of June 2007. Wiped us all out! It's been really hard for all of us. I had to move back to Indpls. My sister and husband have bought a house.. Joe is still trying to figure out what to do. Our lives all are still on hold. But we are all getting by.  Ready to write another chapter in our lives.....

Of course all of this has taken a toll on my health.....I am headstong in making 2009 a year of not only rebuilding my life....but also my health.

I love The Doctors. I do get alot of good information from them.  Hey, maybe in 2009 the will answer one of my questions.
