Stubble DOES Increase Sex Appeal

Since all of the schools in my area are closed because of the four inches of snow, I actually got to watch "The Doctors" this morning! Yay! ^_^

Anywho, it was an informative show, as always, and I enjoyed getting to watch it for a change. I saw the advertisement for the next show tomorrow and I saw something about "Does stubble increase sex appeal?" and there was Dr. Ordon with some beautiful chin stubble.

I was like clawing at the TV, amazed by how different, and how much hotter, Dr. Ordon looked! In some cases, stubble does increase sex appeal. I can't explain why but, from a woman's perspective, it's just so attractive. Some women are different and can't stand facial hair on a man (for example, I couldn't stand it about 2 years ago). But for others, it's a major turn on.

For example, ladies, take a look at Hugh Laurie (Dr. Gregory House) [below] from the TV medical drama "House MD". Sometimes I find myself watching the show just to see his handsome face. The grayish/black stubble is SO hot on him. I love the stubble, but maybe it's just the beautiful blue eyes that get you....

All in all, there are many guys out there that have hot sexy stubble on their face. And as a female, I can't deny that it is a turn on and does increase sex appeal. But for some women... not so much.

Looking at a picture of a guy with stubble is very different than kissing one. The prickle and burn from stubble against my skin and lips is definitely not sexy!

I think the stubble creates a bit more of that "bad boy" image.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I saw the preview on the site... I didn't like the stubble on Dr. Ordon.  I think he looks so much better clean.  I agree with Jan, if you have ever kissed or cuddled with a guy who has facial stubble, it creates this horrible friction on your skin... NOT sexy.  lol  I know what you are talking about though, I've seen guys who haven't shaved in a day or so and it just gives them that rough edge look.  I like to touch a guys face when I kiss him.  He doesn't have to be smooth as a babies bottom, but I don't want Grizzly Adams either.  It's all about preference.  If we all liked the same thing, we'd be boring.

~ On a side note, every time I see "Dr. House", I'm reminded of what a guy said to my Brother.... "If you were to have become a Dr., that's exactly who you'd have been like."  LOL

I prefer my Hubby to be clean shaven,it just looks cleaner to me.He does have a mustache thou,to cover a scar on his lip from a car accident.I saw a snip-it of tomorrows show and Dr.O; Get rid of that 5 o'clock shadow...

Sorry Yvonne,

Some guys can carry off, others cannot. Your guy would look good, but you're the one that has to look at him everyday, not me.  My hubby wears a gotee very well.  No pic ladies... he's mine !!!!!

chloe720

Oh no, Dr. Drew,  Yvonne has a shaver.....run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with just about everyone on this one.  Looking at the stubble is sexy.... snuggling next to it can be hurtful if you have sensitive skin.  But give me a guy with chest hair ANY day.  Not the shoulders and back gorilla hair..... just nice savvy chest hair.  Still can't understand some of my guy friends when they shave or wax their chests..... beyond my ken.

That's my two-bits worth.
