About Me

Hello everyone! I honestly think that I am the only teenager who watches "The Doctors" and other graphic medical shows and doesn't get creeped out by them. My friends think I'm a bit strange because I only watch TV when "Mystery ER" or "Code Blue" is on. My favorite studies are the science classes, math classes and the literature classes. Here's a bit more info about me:

My dream for the future: Most of the people in my family are into the science/mathematics job list. My mother and father are accountants and so is my aunt. My other aunt is a nurse/nutritionist who met my uncle, a chemist, at the hospital where they both worked. My godfather is a chemist as well and runs the lab at an NJ hospital. I have a second-uncle who is a retired physician as well. I don't exactly feel pressured by them, as much as I feel the need to go out on my own and discover what I want to do. After many years of school and learning, I am 100% sure that I will enjoy a career in medicine. I can't think of spending my life in a better way than helping people.

Location: Nassau County, New York

Grade: 11- starting in September (Catholic high school) [I'm aiming for Hofstra College!] ^_^

Age: 15 (I got skipped a grade :D)

Height: 5' 1" (I've been told that I'm not going to grow anymore by about 3 doctors already....I'm so short T_T)

Interesting Facts about me: I've played clarinet for 5 years. I can speak Spanish and a bit of Japanese. I am the youngest in my class of over 200 students. Carlisle Cullen is my favorite vampire. My favorite color is black. I've never been to a public school in my whole life. I can play every song on Guitar Hero on medium and get 100% every time. My favorite class so far is Chemistry. I love drawing and watching anime. My favorite game for my Nintendo DS is "Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2." My favorite movie is "Doc Hollywood" starring Michael J. Fox. I've been swimming for 8 years. I've played tennis for 4 years and was on the Central Park (in New York) female team for the past 3 years. I have brunette hair and I am going prematurely gray. (T_T) I always wear a special hugs & kisses silver ring that my mother gave to me as my good luck charm.

My health: A little over two years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease). I'm not about to go into details about it, but it is very difficult to live with. The effects of PCOD are painful, but I have basically learned to deal with it by now. I'm currently on birth control and have to visit my doctor every month for a physical and blood panel. It's getting better, so I'm happy about that. :)

Accepted to summer medical camp! =D

Oh my GOD! (I'm Catholic- forgive me, Lord!) When I got the letter in the mail saying that I got accepted, I literally jumped up and down, while screaming, for ten minutes straight. =D It's a medical summer camp where you get to work with doctors and specialists and tend to patients and learn a few small medical procedures. All in all, it's only about 2 weeks long, but I'm sooo excited to be going!...

Stubble DOES Increase Sex Appeal

Since all of the schools in my area are closed because of the four inches of snow, I actually got to watch "The Doctors" this morning! Yay! ^_^ Anywho, it was an informative show, as always, and I enjoyed getting to watch it for a change. I saw the advertisement for the next show tomorrow and I saw something about "Does stubble increase sex appeal?" and there was Dr. Ordon with some beautiful chin stubble. I...
