 Hi Mcarr,

I was just readying about your headaches and the symptoms you are having with your face, it really sounds like you need to maybe think about getting a second opinion. As you said you have a lot of concerns that this shouldn't be happening to you, listen to you concerns I would if it were me !!!

Take care, Liz :)

thank you but i already have a doctor and neurologist. i have taken medication for my headache but it didn't work so i don't want any more medication anymore. i'm just frustrated that doctor still can't figure out what's wrong with me. as long as my doctor doesn't ignore me. i'm going to stick it out for a awhile. i'm taking vitamins for the headache and i'm feeling a lot better than i used to and since i'm off the medication now. i feel much better but i have problems with back pain, neck pain and numbness and tingling. a

I am really starting to get concerned because of the facial drooping and the memory loss that I do experience. I have to be reminded all the time to do things and still sometimes I forget or I will put something away and then I can't find it even tho I just put it away.  I have the tingling in my feet and hands and I had a stress test done because I was having chest pains and pains running down my left arm. I asked my Neurologist if it could be medication related but he said no. So the only thing I could think was it was my heart. But I passed the stress test. I get piercing pains in my head that last for a few seconds and they just come out of no where. But the headache every day and the drooping of my face and the closing of my eye has me really concerned.  All my Neurologist said was that this is not new.  But to me there is something wrong! My face should not be doing this, I should not be having a headache every day! I am waken from a severe headache in the middle of the night or when I do wake up...I have a headache. If I wake without a headache...by noon I will have a headache. I am never without a headache. And all they do is put me on more medications...increase the dose!

I am so tired of feeling useless, being in pain...I just want to be normal, a wife, a mom and a friend!!

Hello mcarr i am not a doctor or nothing but i would like to tell you from experience, i myself had some pretty strang things going on with myself for years headaches, weakness on one side no feeling on the right side of my limbs and numerous other things test after tests were done finally after seeing differents neurologists one that actually listened to me diid i finally get help and answers. I myself was diagnosed with MS i am in no way saying that is what you have i am mearly saying that maybe it is time for you to see a different neurologists or have different tests done maybe it doesn't have to do with your head perhaps it is your neck i don't know but i would look elswere

SusanneAngelina thank you for the information. I am always looking for any information to help with this pain.  This will be short because I am having a bad day. I wake up lately with the headaches and they seem to get worse as the day goes on.  I am just tired of all the medication they continue to give me and nothing seems to work. I have tried the pressure points and it seemed to make it worse. I would love to have some relief. I feel useless...I don't work so I am no help there, I have days when I can't get out of bed...so no help there, so I feel like I am a failure to my family. I just want to feel normal again, I want to be able to take care of my family and enjoy life again.  I am really tired of taking pills and nothing working. I will be looking for my 3rd Neurologist if Monday when I see my Neurologist, he does nothing but put me on more meds.  I just feel like he's missing something!  I have days when I need to go to the hospital but I can't afford the co-pay. With just my husband working things are really rough right now. Well, we will see what happens.  Thanks again for the information. I hope you find some relief also. I pray every day that someone will find something for all of us that suffer from this.

Sorry to hear about your headaches. I also suffer from cronic Migraines and muscle tension and stress headaces. So I to am also in constant pain and understand how you feel. I used to go to a doctor in Connecticut. Neurologist. Drs. Alan M. Rapoport ( the one I saw) and Fred D. Sheftell are the cofounders and codirectors of The New England Center for Heachache an institute devoted solely to alleviating the pain of chronic headache sufferers. They wrote a book called Headache Relief. You might get some benefit from reading it. I was so bad a few years back that Dr. Rapoport hospitalized me two times. They have a beautiful suite in the hospital in Greenwich. It can be expensive if you don't have insurance to cover it; but it is definitely worth checking it out. At least try to get the book. I bought it, but I believe you can find it in your local library. I have had headaches for 29 years now and they sure can wear you down. I also have other medical issues, but I'll get into that another time. Hope this is some help to you and feel better!!!! SusanneAngelina Write back and let me know what you think.

I was getting Migraines when I was in my teens but they weren't often and it does run in my family. But there is also seizures that run in my family.  So far I am the only on that has this disorder Chronic Daily Headache Syndrome with Migraines.  My son is starting to have issues with headaches so I have him seeing a neurologist. I have a pending case for disability now.  I have not been able to work since 2006.

It must be hard for you having to walk the dogs with your chronic pain, do you have any help? I guess that is why I love my cats, they are indoor cats.

I guess I am just tired of people telling me that I am depressed and it's just tension or the doctors putting me on different medications, when one doesn't work they try a different one and so on. Right now I take 9 in the am and I take 3 in the pm., from beta blockers to channel blockers. My memory is not good, I have slurred speech and if I bend over to do things it's instant headache. I went to court after my denial for disability and I went there with a massive headache, eye drooping and I was denied again! Even though there was people there that said I WOULD NOT be able to work because of all the time I would miss, most companies will only allow 3 days per month and I was way over that.  Well, I am now waiting for another date.

Hi! I never got migraines until I was 28. During the first few years I kept battling multiple Drs./therapists. They kept say it was 'stress headaches'. GGGRRRRR....I knew better. Then out of the blue,my mom suddenly says,"You know MY mom used to have migraines so bad." AGH! Why did she not tell me this years earlier? Hormonal migraines are hereditary. So as soon as I told the Drs. that I was treated differently.Of course back then, nothing helped."Triptan' drugs were not legal in the USA yet.

I have never had any issues with my eyes drooping and I also never get auras like most people.

As for my pets,I wished I only had 1 dog.Not that I don;t love my dogs but they are a lot work. The worst is,they need walking and I have issues with chronic pain(I am disabled if you did not realize it).
