Welcome to our neighborhood!  I too am fairly new to the site and very new to blogging!  I received the warmest thoughts from many who have become my friends.  I know you will find many friends here!

I too came from an abusive relationship!  I know walkinway from your daughter was probably the hardest thing you have ever done.  You were so brave!  Sounds like you have met prince charming!  I am happy  for you.  You deserve it!

Sorry you are having issues with your stepmother.  Is she maybe feeling a little hurt that you have remarried or maybe that you won't have time for her anymore now that you are married. Maybe you can send her one of your candles with a note attached telling her how much the scent of your friendship lingers with you and tell her you don't want to lose that.  Maybe she will call you?

Funny, how so many of us collect angels isn't it?  So do I.  Started out collecting porcelain ones, but then found some at dollar tree so bought a bunch.  When my dad became confined to his bed I put one on his pillow to remind him that he had one always with him.  I also take some with me when I visit the nursing home.

Hope the stepmother issue is soon resolved!

Thank you for shareing your experiences just sharing helps others. It is amazing how many people who have been in abusive reltionships either when they were young or in later yrs collect Angels.HMMMM something in that. I am so glad life is going good for you.
