did you ever get an answer? i got a real big mrsa infection a few days after leaving the hospital and they they didn't even cut me. i was there for tests. i got my on my left thigh,buttock and  well liabia. it was huge. had to have surgery. but no one can tell me how to stop any more from coming. i have gotten them on my stomach, arm back and face.
