Greetings...I too thouhgt, that was a picture of your cat, even though it isn't, it show how much you love cats, because of your choice of having it represent you. As a matter of fact, you sound like a lover of animals, cats and dogs...so am I.
By the way I too have a confession...that picture of the surfer, unfortunatly is not me...maybe in my earlier years I looked like that when I was living in Hawaii and surfing (which I still can). The picture was taken by a very good friend of mine vacationing in Honolulu at the North Shore Beach. It kind of represents me and how I like to live...carefree, enjoying life out in the open air under heavens sky.
I know that "Lux of Luv" would be more than happy to receive your "Lux" and they encourage everyone that has hair to donate, to do so, It'll make a person that has no hair due to chemo treatment very happy. I have an idea of how that could be, because I love my hair and enjoyed every bit of it, but was willing to give it up for someone that needed it more then I.
Pinkers, I wish I could say the kitty in the picture is mine, but the photo actually was on the internet. I just thought it was SO cute! I love cats (grew up with a cat). Now, I have an amazing dog. She truly understands "every" word. She enjoys running around the center island in the kitchen. When I'm emptyig the dishwasher, however, I do not like her running around (I do not want to find dog hairs on clean dishes...). If she starts heading towards me, while I'm unloading the dishwasher, all I have to do is tell her to "go around" and she does. If I tell her we are getting company, or ask "Who's there?", she runs to the front window to take a look. I think she's a cat in a dog's body. I even leave her food out (like I did with the cat), and she only eats when she's hungry (not at all like most dogs...).
Afibcyborg, That's so cool that you cut your hair and donate it! and even cooler that you're going to do it again. hmmm....Maybe, I'll grow mine to donate, too (although, I do not think they would WANT mine......it's full-o-frizz). Looking forward to seeing those photos. Is that you on the surf board?
Well, nitey-nite folks! Aloha, Shalom, Salaam, Buenos Noches. (I only know a "little" in a lot of languages)
I finally did it...after over 5 years, going on 6 (Oct 20,2003)...I got my hair cut. It was nine years since I had a stroke and I thought that since it was the stroke that caused the ripple effect to my two heart valve replacement, that I would mark this day with a haircut. But this was not just a haircut...it was a haircut that I was able to give something back, what I mean is that I donated my 5 plus years of growth to "Luxs of Luv". The hair dresser and salon (Great Clips) was very pleasent, professional, appreciative and especially...friendly. Anyway after all this years, my head feels 5lbs lighter, I'll keep it this way, possible even shorter in the summer, then start growing it out again in the winter for another "Lux of Luv" project. The next one I will try yo keep it even longer. I will be posting some pictures of the before and after in a couple of days. Well eveyone have a healthy April Fools Day and till next time...Aloha & Shalom.
I loved your "about me". Live, love, be happy should be everyone's motto or goal! See you are a cat lover. That pic was adorable though I don't know how you got him/her to pose! My three cats seem to sleep with one eye open.

You never said if you got your tire fixed? Seeing the show would be interesting and FUN; however, I live in NC so you go and tell all of us about it!
