Good morning Tami, sorry I haven't written sooner. How are you doing my friend? I am sad to hear that you have been having alot of trouble with your back and you have been having migraines. Have either of those things let up any? Are you travelling for Christmas or staying at home? The weather here has been very snowy and my migraines have really been kicking up alot. My doctor has upped one of my preventitive meds but it will take a bit to see if it kicks in. I am back to 5 days a week at work but struggling with that because of the headaches, but can't get everything I need to do done in 4.

Goodmorning Tami, I am sorry you've had such a rough couple of weeks but glad to hear you are doing better. As for being stubborn, well I agree that it is a good thing, especially if it keeps you moving and out of a wheel chair. I hope you continue to feel better my friend. We have been hit with some major snow the last two days up here in Canada {still snowing right now} and so my head has a lot of pressure right now. Not a major migraine yet and am hoping it stays at the pressure stage but figure I'm not that lucky. I was off yesterday and by lunchtime I had one and by 2pm had to take the "demon" pill. I am hoping today isn't a repeat. I have to work today and have too much to do so can't leave work today. Well sweetie, have to go get ready, enjoy your Thanksgiving, we had ours back in October, eat lots of turkey and goodies. I'll be thinking of you.  Take care of you.  Deb

Hi Tami, thankyou very much for the anniversary wishes and yes I do have an awesome hubby. I am a fortunate woman to have been blessed with another wonderful marriage at this stage of my life. I certainly never expected or looked for it. Please don't apoligize for not keeping in touch, you have a full and busy life. I just hadn't seen you in here for a bit and me being me, got a little concerned. Hi Nana, I haven't been in here for a couple of days but received your message. I wanted to thankyou very much and let you know it meant alot to me. I could feel your hug all the way up here in Canada.  Monday evening was the wake and yesterday the funeral. She had 8 siblings, her wonderful husband, 8 children, 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many neices and nephews so there were alot of people gathered to celebrate her life and the love and joy she shared with us all.  Thankyou again for your kindness.  Deb

Good morning Nana, thanks for your words of encouragement, both on the migraines and on our loss.  I have tried Imatrex {probably spelled wrong} several times and it doesn't work for me. I have tried many of the migraine drugs along that line and unfortunately have had no success with them. But I'm going to keep on going til I find something that works for me. That's what is so great about this site and wonderful people like you out there. I can learn about what others have tried and had success with and then suggest those to my doctor. Because specialists are stumped as to what to do with me now they are sticking to the old " well you are probably just beginning menopause so when you get through to the other end of that you may not have any more headaches".  Well that could be years!!!!  I've barely started that according to their blood tests and have lttle or no symptoms { except very little patience these days and I think that's more to do with the headaches lol}.  I will talk to you soon, need to get ready for work.  Take care my friend...Deb
