I just want to put in my two cents on the the home or hospital delivery debate. I have been pregnant only once, I had a VERY easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, no mood swings, I was just a big fat happy lady the entire time. Labor started easily, after only 2 1/2 hours I was 5 minutes apart so we headed to the hospital. The doctor walked in when I was close to 10 centameters a few hours later and the first thing she said was 'I want a sonagram on her now', it turned out my son was trying to come out sidewise; ass first. I was immediately taken into surgery and had a C-section, my son was born without incident. Who would have thought that a totally mundane pregnancy would result that way? I will never regret choosing the hospital as my birthing location.
