About Me
Hello!! I am 48 y/o married female with entirely too many problems and more drugs than I care to count to take everyday. Little by little problems are being sorted out one way or another. I've had two back surgeries in the course of 7 months. I now have three rods and countless screws in my lower back. I am unable to work - I can't sit or stand long enough yet plus all the Morphine I take keeps me sleepy or asleep. I am unable to drive because of that. I hope that in time (it's only been 2 months since the last surgery) that I will do better. That was the whole point of the surgeries in the first place. No guarantees I know, that's what the Neuro Surgeon told me. But I have to have hope.
When that's sorted out it will be time to move on to another one of my ailments. Not much can be done about my Fibromyalgia but I am taking meds for the neuropathic pain. At least those meds don't make me loopy. But they do make me dizzy. ha ha
I have a wonderful, understanding husband, We've been married nearly 24 year now. I have a great daughter who is a bright light in my life. I have to look at my blessings to keep me upbeat. I try to pull myself together for them and if I can do or say anything that brings a smile to their faces then I can't help but to smile myself.
I love animals, especially cats. We have two indoor cats plus I feed the wild orphans outside. I do my best to keep them all healthy. But if things look bad we manage to catch them and get them treated and fixed if I can afford it.
I've shared more than enough. I pray everyday for those close to me and then finally for myself. God is the strongest power I can lean on. He and those who surround him help me make it through each day. They have stopped me when I'd just about given up several times now. I know they will continue to help me and if you have faith I pray that they will help you also.

hi bee,
sounds like you have about the same problems i have except for the rods in the back. i haven't had that done yet. my lower back, below my waist, nobody can touch, it's so sensitive. so how are you doing? i hope this works for you.
i'm having such problems with my left knee. i twisted it last sept. and haven't been able to walk on it since. i have to use a cane now it hurts so bad. the doctor says it arthritis. i can't even sleep on my left side at night it hurts so bad. i think it's time for an mri or something to be done to be sure. i live in ohio and its getting so i can barely stand the winters around here anymore, as much as i hate the heat i'm thinking about moving south, thinking it might help the arthritis. we'll see i guess.
i hope you get to feeling better and if you ever want to talk i'm here and i'm a good listener. take care of yourself i'll be thinking of you.

Someone needs to check into the Add as friend option that is shown next to a persons name who left the comment. On my profile for example Catwoman posted a comment so next to her comment I clicked to add her as a friend link but it didn't and instead of doing that for me, the link actually came back as wanting to add myself.
Take a look at the posts here that others have left for you. Each Add as friend actually points to your profile... not the person who left the comment. I would think that that icon/link is there so that when we see a kindred spirit who left a comment we can click the add them to our friend link, and it would send them a request to be our friend.
I am positive I am not explaining it properly.. I blame it on my heavy meds. I do hope I've at least said enough to give you the right idea and point you in the right direction so as to get the glitch fixed... You are who we would go to for that, right? If not, maybe you direct me?
Sweepbee,
You explained it just fine. :) You are correct, that link should point to the member leaving the comment, not the member who's profile it is. I have sent this information to the Tech department. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

hi kathy, it's me again i just read your info above and saw you had back surgery, what was wrong with your back? i have degenerative disc disease, plus osteoarthritis in my and in all my joints. i'm on a lot of meds too, and fall asleep at odd times and feel so light headed and dizzy that i have no sense of balance most times. i have been standing upright and fell over backwards, for no reason. at home is one thing, but out in public gets a bit embarrassing. i have have diabetes 2 and neuropathy in my feet, and all over to where i can't feel things, and nothing can be done for it. it's frustrating but i just keep going, even though my going is getting rougher, i keep trying. just hang in there and know that there is always soneone worse than you, that's what i do. good luck and take care

That would be Greenville NC. I'm actually closer to the coast but there wasn't a choice for my exact area. Thanks for asking to be my friend. I'll do my best to write more to you later. I'm a bit out of it right now. :)
