I haven't blogged in quite a while so I better get to it. I seem to be struggling a lot with Cycle 2. I swear on the days that we are allowed our starches, they make me even more hungry. I have been nibbling things that I shouldn't be. I have been working out extra hard to burn off the little bites I have been eating.
Every month around "that" time I get an uncontrollable hunger! Please tell me others are having these same issues. Also, I gain so much in water retention during that time, it gets me really down. This time I gained 5 pounds...then it seems it takes me an entire week just to loose the water. Then I get frustrated that I didn't loose any weight because of the water gain. Grrrrrr I'm just so sick of it. It brings me down every time.
I know there is the PMS diet, but the issue still is that I gain water and then have no weight loss for that week. :o( I tell you, sometimes is just sucks being a woman. Men not only get pms, they also drop their weight so fast it makes me sick. lol OK....can you tell I'm bitter today. Sorry and thank-you for the venting.

i too suffer from pms and heavy period and yes i do get hungry a lot during my period.
I totally understand this frustration, i'm already frustrated i've not lost much at all on cycle 2, and now 'that' is coming and for the whole week prior the cravings are horrible, i evne wake up hungry in middle of the night. Topped with heavy cramping, I've considered getting a hysterectomy just to get rid of it, but afraid of the hormonal change that may make me gain even more. CAnt win here!
