thanks so much for getting back to me! I think I'll make that appointment, this is something I have actually been putting off for 7 years. I've been suffering from fatigue for about 4 years now. I never knew it could be from something like that. I pray God doesn't have it in the cards for me, I hope its something else doing it, but at least he put your words in my life to check on myself just in case. I never even considered how serious hemms could be until I saw your post. I will let you know how it goes. God Bless you    -Danielle

For my doctor to be sure that it was cancer, he did a tissue biopsy right there in his office that took 24 hours to get the results, but he could look at the "hemorrhoid" and tell that it was cancerous because the color is different.  A normal hem. is normally purple in color because it is a vein that is enlarged.  The cancer looked totally different.  Also, hemrds normally itch and the cancer did not.  When I look back, I became very tired & run down during the time I was fighting with the "hemrd." before I found out it was cancer.  This would not have happened if it had not been cancer.

I hope this information helps you.  I had to go to a specialist, or Proctologist, to get a correct diagnosis because most G.P.'s are not familiar with Anal/Rectal Cancer in younger people like us and they misdiagnose.  If yours doesnt respond to medication within a month, dont hesitate to go to a specialist.

I am now cancer-free, but I have to be tested every 3 months because it has a high rate of coming back.  I'll take it though...I'm just happy to be alive with my family!!!  Let me know if I can help with any other questions!  Take care.

I was reading your post about rectal cancer. I have had problems since the birth of my son with mine. I was just wondering if they did some kind of test before diagnosing rectal cancer or did they just say it was because you answered yes to the questions he asked. I have a lot of problems with mine I even elected to have a c section with my last baby because of the pain I went through pushing out my middle child. I even had them cut open in the ER to releave pressure. I'm just wondering what they did to come to that diagnosis. I hope you are ok now I will pray for you.
