I'm the mother of 6  grown children. All but my youngest, who is 23 ( a cancer survivor) have lives of their own. I am raising a few grandchildren as well.

I try above all else to keep a positive ,  never give up attitute about life. I think if we wake daily with a smile and a good attitude, we have a much better day.  I believe in living life to the fullest, working with what talents we have been given, to bring happiness to ourselves , as well as others. I love to joke, laugh and truly enjoy talking to other people, especially people who seem to have been given more than they are able to deal with. I love that we are all different, yet each of us, are special/beautiful in our own way. So many people have poor self esteem because they forget to look at their positive things, and tend to dwell only on the negative. I look in the mirror and say.dang, you have pretty aqua eyes, and a beautiful smile, rather than noticing flaws.

I am a nurse by profession, a poet at heart. The last thing I bought a close friend, was a CD of Alison Krauss and the Union Station, as this friend loves music.
