Ok, I know the picture is scary, but my kids felt this was too wild not to post. I went to the eye doctor the other day, I've had my eyes dialated before, but never like this, I couldn't see anything, and the kids said I looked like an alien. Out of curiosity does anyone know why my eyes were so much more dialated then they ever have been before?

Scotts eyes looked the same way after his were done , he couldnt see all day long. Mine werent that bad I could see like and hr or 2 later.

I wonder why that is? I couldn't believe how bad it was. I have had this done before and it was no big deal, I drove myself home and everything was fine, this time, well I have a new van and I couldn't read the buttons, for the A/C or anything and there are a million of them, so I'm pushing things trying to make it cold, (I'm glad no one was watching LOL) I could see the road and other cars ok, but I couldn't see my speedometer, it was scary. If I ever have to do it again I will take a Driver. After they dialated my eyes they put me in a dimly lit room with a lamp and some magazines to wait to see the doctor, so I pick up a magazine found an article I was interested in, began to read, and then POW, i couldn't see anything, I was thinking, why do they even have magazines in here? I couldn't even read the large printed consumer reports magazine! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! LOL
If you find out the answer to this question please let me know!!!! Get it all the time. My family members have to drive me around afterwards. Not even sunglasses helped. :-)

Millyforeyehealth on the community boards said there are different strenths of eye drops for dialating the eye. I don't know much about her background, but I have no reason to doubt the info either as I am clueless on the topic. Until I know more I thought I'd pass this along. :0)
