Hey all,
I know you are getting sick of hearing from me, I've been a bit down and you all seem to lift my spirits. I mentioned to my doctor several months ago I've been having a lot of muscle spasms. Now I know everyone has a muscle that twitches now and then, normally you would look at the muscle and say "Cool" and it's no big deal right. Well I noticed I started having a lot of muscle twitches, some of them quite strong. I have on several occasions had my whole arm jerking, but it usually doesn't last long. Most of the time the muscle twitches are in large muscles, I have had eye twitches or facial twitches, but mostly larg muscles are involved. Now I seem to be having twitches almost everyday, some days more than others. Before I could rub the muscle and it would stop. I had a twitch in my upper arm the other night and then it was sore that night and the next day like I had pulled a muscle. Tonight my arm is twitching it started around 6:30pm and it is now 11:42pm and it's still twitching, it's annoying. Is this something I should be concerned with, or is it just silly? Thanks for your help.
Michele

Hi Michelle,
I have the twitching thing going on with one arm.
It seems to be worse when I am over stressed. It
is annoying, especially since I don't dare carry a
cup of coffee or anything till it stops. Most of the
time it just shakes so I have adapted to using my
other arm more. Sludge
Big problems with little to say. Muscle spasms, leg cramps, and twitches are a norm for me over the past 20 years and I just got tired of telling the Doctors about it and with no medical answers. We just have to keep on seeking answers and if none are forthcoming I always changed to another Doctor. Even now I'm in a quandry of finding another Doc. I hope you find some answers from someone soon.

Hi. I don't know if this will be of any help to you but I have twitches all the time. I find it embarrassing since I see people staring at me. I just started laughing it off and ignored the people. I have arachnoiditis and this affects the nerves in my spine (just to give a short explanation). I see many different specialists but my rheumatologist has been of the most help to me. Also my neurologist is helpful. If I were you I would see a specialist and speak to them about your problem. Good Luck!
