Hey all!!!!

     I have official news from Kathy (Horsecrazy) from this site.  She has become a good friend to me, I called her tonight to see how she was doing after her Bladder Bypass done yesterday.  She told me her surgery was 6 hours long, but went well.  I asked her how the pain was and she seemed pleasently surprised at how well she was doing, as it was a long and complicated surgery.  She said the doctor came in today and said she should sit up for awhile, she told him she had been up for 2 hours, the Doctor was surprised and told her that was enough for today!!!  Kathy is fiesty huh?  She said she is on Morphine right now, her speech was a little slurred, but she sounded good, very strong considering she just had surgery.  She said the hospital Tampa General is wonderful and that they are treating her like a queen!  She also said she has a private room, which is very nice and exciting. She expects to go home this weekend, Sat. or Sun.  She asked about all of you, I caught her up with what I knew of everyone.  She said when she gets home and is able she will write a bit and maybe post a blog to let everyone know she is home and doing A-OK.  She told me to tell everyone not to worry about her, she's fine. :0)  I was glad to hear it.

     We talked a bit about her new van, it sounds really nice.  She's sooooooo happy to have it, and it sounds like she can't wait to get home and drive it again. :0)  We talked about her birds, she said HotShot seemed to know she was going to be gone before she left, as we all know our babies just know these things.  She seemed in good spirits, I'll try calling her again in a few days to check up on her, and I'll post a blog to let you know how she's doing.  She said she hasn't had any visitors (I asked) but we talked about how she's a bit far from home for her friends to go see her.  She seemed genuinely happy with the hospital staff and her doctors, and with how things are going.

     Well I think that is all I know right now.  I know she'll be happy to see your posts of well wishing, thoughts and prayers when she returns home.  I wish her a speedy recovery!!!!!!
