Hi All,
This will sound bizarre and it was, but it is absolutely true not a joke, and it creeped me out! Last night I was going to bed I have been taking Bactrum for my tooth infection and MRSA that showed up again recently. The Bactrum I am allergic to, so I have to take a heavy duty antihystamine with it, anyway one or both of the meds make my mouth very dry, so last night I thought I'd leave the Green Tea I had brought in to take my pills next to the bed on the dresser incase I woke up thirsty. It sounded like a good plan at the time anyway. A few hours later I woke up and mouth was very very dry, I reached over and grabbed my glass of tea and took a drink in the dark, and immediately I felt a horrible sensation in my mouth, kinda a pinching grabbing sensation. I'm frantically screaming and trying to pull the painful objects out of my mouth, by this time my husband is awake and runs to turn the light on. I pulled 3 ants of of my mouth! One had bit my tongue!!!! I don't know where the ants came from, or where they went because they are gone this morning. These weren't the little black ants, these were the big Red and Black ants!!!! It was very creepy and more like something in a nightmare.

Is this the "ant" you was referring to? If so, this is the "Cow Killer Ant". It's actually a WASP! The females are wingless and easily mistaken for velvet red/black ants. It's dubbed the "cow ant" because the sting is very painful and people describe the pain as strong enough to kill a cow. And it stung your tongue? Ouch!
OMG Michele I am not laughing at this one,as you thought I might be amused.That's terrible to find out this has happened.YUK.
Don't drink anything in the dark anymore.This creeps me out.

OMG, Mich, when i was pregnant the first time, we were in an apartment. I put a glass of soda next to the bed. I woke up in the night to go to the bathroom, I was going to grab my soda, but I turned the light on , Thank God, and it was covered with ants. Uck. I almost grabbed it in the dark. I was so happy I turned on the light. Sleep well. Love, Bobbie
omg !!!!!! did you have a reaction to the bite !!!!!!! creepy !!!! Well i have a gllass of water next to my bed everynight .NOT ANYMORE. you know how many spiders i have killed recently
