No Excuse for Abuse

     I was watching the news and a man was driving down the highway. And saw something on the side of the road.  He pulled over and found a pet carrier with a dead dog in it.  He said the dog's head was bashed in.  They said on the news that there is always pet abuse, but because of the economy people are stressed and pet abuse has become much more prevalent.  People get stressed and take it out on their pets.  This is so sad.  If someone doesn't want their pet, they should take it to the Humane Society, not beat it.  They also said because of the economy Spouse abuse, and child abuse is also on the rise.  It's really sad.  There is no excuse for abuse, ever.  If someone feels like they are losing control due to stress, they should seek help, there are hotlines people can call, anti anxiety meds might be needed, or just reach out to a Pastor.

I can not imagine abusing an animal they have no voice that's why I always said I love animals more than people !!!!

Oh that makes me angry. Did they find the idiot that did it?? What state is this in ? The economy is an excuse in my opinion. OMG i cant even imagine.

When i lived in another town we had a neighbor actually 2 different neighbors in the same house at different times. The first one used to abuse his girlfriend so we hid her in our house until the cops got there .I bandaged her up and everything. While my husband stood guard. They took him out of the house kicking and screaming like a baby and her by ambulance. Oh how I wanted 5 min with him.I was stronger person then..

Then our other neighbor had a rottie he got away from him and chased a cat down the street..The owner went after the dog.He caught the dog but dragged him home.  he kicked his dog and he was bleeding  .I told him put the dog down. he asked why and I said so I can kick you like you kicked him right upside your head.

I was a bit fighsty back then. My husband stopped me. The dog ended up getting put to sleep because of that jerk. Rain was his name and he was HUGE !! roxy and him were good buddies. Sorry I tend to ramble. I gotta stop that
